My partner and I just had dinner there, and it was phenomenal! The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the chef was gracious and friendly. The atmosphere was wonderfully calming and peaceful, allowing us to have a deep conversation and truly enjoy each other's company. We will definitely return and bring our friends along. My only criticism is that it was a bit pricey for a couple with eight children, but we'll find a way to make it work and come back.
If you're in the mood for steak, this is the place to go. The quality, flavor, and texture of the meat are unlike anything I've experienced in Des Moines. The chef employs unique grilling techniques that you won't find anywhere else, and his Argentine heritage along with his extensive experience truly shine through in every dish. Additionally, the impressive wine selection offers perfect pairings, and the friendly staff contribute to a top-notch dining experience.
Al Punto was a pleasant surprise. When you walk in; there was a pile of firewood near the entrance and the amazing smell of wood fire grilled meat. Elizabeth, our server, did a great job of explaining their menu, and gave great recommendations. We’ll be back for their salmon, empanadas, steak and chimichurri sauce. The fire roasted vegetables and meat were cooked to our liking, and the portions were huge.
I celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday here, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were wonderful, and the dishes were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to try something different from the usual! Réservez une table maintenant
