When you enter the door of the Alamo Springs Cafe, the first thing you think is “this is the America of movies.” But it's real, it's not a decoration, it's not a theme bar. The front part is type dinner, with about 5 tables and a bar. I went at night and the lighting consisted of a light bulb on the roof, and several neon signs of beer brands, in which the red was the predominant color. Drove 45 miles Friday afternoon on a beautiful day. Arrived at 2:30 to find out the new management closed at 3:00. Still plenty early, but no shut down food service because they were short staffed. Guess they want reimburse us for mikeage and two hours round trip time. New management likely ving off old owners reputation. Don’t waste your time!

I recently enjoyed a delicious cheeseburger with a fried egg and fries at this restaurant. The food and service were both excellent, and the atmosphere was great. The owner made sure to regularly check in on us during our meal. I also tried the onion rings and fried avocado on a previous visit and they were also fantastic. Réservez une table maintenant

This was the worst meal I have had at a restaurant in years. Four of us went, and the food was so terrible that we left it untouched and left hungry. This is the first negative food review I have ever written, but I feel that people need to be aware of how bad it was.

This is a nice out of the way place. I went on a Sunday, a day before the eclipse. The place was not too busy. You get put on a waiting list and can just grab whatever you want to drink out of the cooler. I would come back again if ever in the area.

I was fortunate enough to dine at this restaurant again during a recent visit to Fredericksburg. The burgers here are the best I've ever had. The staff is extremely friendly. I will definitely be returning whenever I am in the area.

Awesome burgers rode our bikes almost two hours away just to find out there was a two hrs wait. But we only waited about an hour, well worth the wait !!! Réservez une table maintenant
