I was really hoping to like this place, but the food just doesn't taste good. The macaroni and cheese had no flavor, the potato salad was bland, the coleslaw was the worst I've ever had in my entire life, and some of the pork was cold. The food was kinda dry. The cornbread was good, but $6 good? No.The atmosphere is nice. The place is very clean and the waitresses were very friendly. The drink we got was good and I like the different sauces at the table. It was weird that no pepper was on the table, but that's nothing. There was an issue with my bill that couldn't be refunded, so I got a gift card. So double check your bill before you pay. Excellent service from all the server's in a unified/non-competitive atmosphere. The food was delivered fast, fresh and delicious. The collard greens should be boiled or cooked longer as these type of greens are extremely fibrous and leathery ifnot tenderized through a longer cooking process. But the flavor and seasoning was spot on. Well done? Other than the aboverecommendation, it was a welcomed delight to dine at The Alamo. I'm looking forward to returning with my family, friends andother food critics.
Ordered the brisket sandwich, which said piled high but had four pieces of skinny meat, that was flavorless, brisket had no noticeable, smoke ring, potato salad was hard and full of too much mayonnaise, the other person had the cheeseburger which weretoo small skinny hamburgers that couldn?t be reconstituted with a gallon of water. They were so dry. The coleslaw was floatingin mayonnaise as well. overpriced for what you got . Service was very good.
This Place is AWESOME!! GREAT ATMOSPHERE, Large bar,Live music 5-8pm! Alot of great choices, Reasonable priced! The meat is tender,the fresh chips were good,Coleslaw was yummy ????????! Alot of Beer Tequila choice's,they have an outdoor porch withheat. All their BBQ sauce are good......I didn't try the ghost pepper one,but if your brave enough I'll leave that for you.Waitress was Awesome.overall I'll diffently be back????????????

Catering on a holiday weekend could not of been easier. The best part was the food was amazing, brisket was perfect ring, and tender enough to cut with a plastic fork. I'm a heat freak but by far the molasses BBQ sauce was my all time favorite. Ribs fall of the bone but only on your plate not in the tray. Thank you!!!
Food was the best bbq I ever had. Loaded potato tots appetizer were great. Brisket extremely tender. We are and drank well for about $40 per person. First time visiting and will definitely be back! Service excellent!Food: 5/5
