I have been going to this restaurant for years now but this is my first review. I have always enjoyed breakfast and brunch at this friendly neighborhood restaurant. Food is very economical and always of very good quality. The service is always efficient and friendly. There is very little turnover in staff and I see familiar faces. My waitress today has been with this restaurant for 21 years. She is always very patient with my very elderly mother and listens to her special requests with respect. Menu selections are both regular meals and for those over 55+ with lots of variety to suit all meal requests. One of the worst experiences ever. family of four went in for Sunday breakfast the server was rude and racist and actually screamed on top of her voice "leave" after a heated argument. . The manager was worse and made us pay the bill in full even though we had to walk out while still eating. .. my kids were so so scared they started to cry... the food was really dry and cold. . We had to literally self serve for cups and cutlery as she would walk by our table thrice not attending to us. The place was dirty. .. anyone know where I can file a compliant?
This was one of the worst restaurants I have eaten in years. It took an hour and a half to have a meal and pay for it. We waited for a half hour before we even got our coffee, and drink. That was the only coffee we were served ! Mt fiancee also had to go looking for someone so she could pay the bill. The meal was very plain. I had a chicken quesadilla and there was hardly any ingredients in it. My fiancee had a burger and it was burn't. We will definitely not be going to any other Alberts, espescially, the one on stoney plain road.
This place is a old fashioned diner that I always frequented for breakfast. Its clean, the service and the food is good, and there is a great atmosphere about the place. I've had better bacon and eggs, but the pancakes and french toast cannot be overlooked. Its not quite the same as the Alberts that used to be on Whyte Ave, but it's pretty good and plenty of character.

This was a great diner, so great we went once for breakfast and once for lunch. The service was great - homemade jam if you ask nicely - and the prices were great too. Portions were very generous and the food was hot and fast. We went with a large group and enjoyed breakfast before hitting the road, a must stop if you are in Edmonton.
This restaurant in on the Comfort Inn property where I was staying so I tried it. The restaurant is clean, bright and open. The prices are reasonable and my brunch was tasty and well presented. The service was friendly, excellent and prompt. Good stop.
We only got as far as sitting. The place is dirty, I have no idea about the food but we got up and left before getting our coffee. The Alberts on 100 Ave & 177 St in the westend Edmonton is much, much nicer and privately owned.
Served quickly and no issues. Atmosphere could be better. Booths could be a little more private, feels too out in the open. But the food was great!

small portions and dirty environment waitress was too into her job. Didn't come around to refill water or hot water for tea
It is bacon and eggs for breakfast, what else could you want. Portions are a good size and it is usualy easy to get into .
