It was my first time to visit the Alcove, the order was quite amazing, but when I saw Matthew Modine there (not working the counter, grateful) my head filled with the theme of the movie, “Vision Quest”, and I could find out my order. I shared the Tiger Shrimp Salad on the crab cake sandwich with my friend, both were exceptional. You have dedicated a whole section of the menu on Eggs Benedict, which awakens my interest in return. The Panini, the breakfast and otherwise also looked amazing. Also the outdoor terrace is totally charming and ingenious.
Food and baked goods are pretty good here. Surprisingly they offer quite a few Spanish/Mexican breakfast dishes. You line up to order at the cash register and then find yourself a table. My one knock on this place is that there’s no designated self parking. Only valet or try to find a space on the street which isn’t that easy in this area. If you’re not lucky, you’ll have to look on a side street.
This restaurant in Los Feliz is a delightful and inviting spot for breakfast. Upon entering, it gave off a cozy, welcoming vibe similar to walking into someone's home. The service was incredibly friendly and prompt. We tried their coffee drinks and pastries, all of which were delicious and perfect for enjoying on the patio. I'm already looking forward to returning.
The heart of Alkove. Sit back, near the toilets. there is a table w/drawer. Leave your own little memory. my favorite must be her bride apple panini, and her burgers. Dessert is always a hard choice. I went before her entire wine shop and parking... I can see why this restaurant has won its popularity during the years.

Love, love this place. I've been here several times and have to say they have fantastic food, fresh, and the service is really wonderful. This time I had the Quiche Lorraine and it was the best ever! Super creamy and fresh. I brought two friends here from OC and they were very impressed! Thanks for the great food.
Such a cute cafe! The food and coffee are so good! Service is very friendly and there is plenty of patio seating. The decor inside is very cute as well. We’ve only been for breakfast but it seems they have a pretty good happy hour also. Definitely recommend
