Situated approximately 200yds from the beach this is a town centre hotel with recently decorated chalet type accomodation to the rear. No breakfast but the hotel does have a restaurant that serves good quality reasonably priced evening meals. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only drawback is the hotel does not have a carpark and roadside parking is limited to one hour between 9am-6pm, that said it's an ideal base if you are sightseeing along the East Yorkshire coast
We’ve just had a lovely meal at the Alex and will definitely return. There were 9 of us and everyone’s meal was really fresh tasty. Some of us had desserts which again were lovely, and the kids ate for £1 so very happy with the bill! All served with a smile by the lovely Heather
we just ate in the alexandra. the eating was delicious, nicely cooked and presented, good portions and great worth, and the staff was nice we will be back on any case, the additional bonus that we live to the corner so that no driving required. many thanks for a very nice meal.
