Alfredo's consistently serves delicious pizza and deli sandwiches. I also enjoy their tiramisu and cannolis. I've been a patron for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. The restaurant is located in a strip mall on Easton Avenue, conveniently close to the Route 287 exit, making it easy to access. The parking lot is spacious and free. I usually call ahead to place my order, and it's always ready for pickup on time. The establishment is well-maintained, with simple and practical furnishings. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. I truly hope Alfredo's remains in business for many years to come, as I intend to keep coming back!
Alfredo's Restaurant Pizzeria is tucked away into a strip mall along the busy Easton Avenue. There's ample parking in the outdoor lot and plenty of indoor seating available. The staff was polite and very friendly. I decided to go with the plain slice and the tomato pie slice. Both slices featured a fluffy crust with crispy exterior and a crispy base to the pizza. The tomato slice had some quality sauce with good flavor. The plain slice went a little overboard on the cheese and needed some more sauce to even out, but overall was a perfectly average slice.
I ordered 2 calzones to be delivered, and got 2 pizzas. I was told it would take 30 minutes, but it took 45. When I called to complain, the OWNER told me I made a mistake when I ordered. Finally agreed to send me the canzone. I told I order from him all the time, he said a lot of people order from him all the time. He also said I had to return the pizzas. What do you suppose he's doing with these pizzas that have been out of his supervision for an hour? And he was totally unapologetic. I'll never order from this business again.
I just wanted to update my rating so people know that not even COVID can stop this from being the best place in the area. The owner always says hello every time I come in and the people who work there are always friendly. If I'm getting pizza when I'm at Rutgers, I don't want it from anywhere else. I promise you, there isn't pizza that is better anywhere in the area. It is not even close when it comes to taste, quality, and consistency!

First of all, it's Café Alfredo's! This place offers the largest and most delicious portions of food you'll find in New Jersey! The pizza is outstanding, and my personal favorites are the Grandma and the Brooklyn styles. The chicken cutlet is the biggest and best around! Plus, the prices are incredibly affordable! And let's not forget about the pasta dishes! This is a must-visit for anyone in the area or just passing through!
This order was placed for delivery. The wait time was around 30 minutes and that was when the food arrived. A pizza with half sausage was ordered (Around $15). The sausage was kind of shredded, which was a little different. It was good. The sauce was pleasant as well as the crust. The pizza as a whole was not too heavy. It was just an overall solid tasting pizza. Will I go back? Sure.
Tasteless pasta, $14 for a penne vodka dinner. It's pretty much just cooked pasta with vodka sauce from the jar. No peas, no Prosciutto to give a better taste. I though according to the reviews I read, it was the best in town. Not at all. Side salad is a joke as well, bunch of lettuce/spinach with 1 tomato and onion.
The food was excellent, the service was quick, and the pizzeria atmosphere was delightful. I can't wait to go back! Next time, I plan to try the cheesecake as well.
