I will not recommend it at all.. I just try it for the first and last time. Won’t go back again!! ?I couldn’t head back for a refund but I was late for work . So the food made it to the trash."

The Tri-tip is definitely a must if eating here. I would have to say the Tri-tip was the highest on my list of food here. It's cooked well. Has that great smoked flavor and the BBQ sauce is the best! If your new here, I strongly suggest the Tri-Tip. The chicken (White meat) was great. Some say it was dry in some reviews. I didn't experience that on my visit. Also I did have BBQ sauce with it. I have to say, I would put that BBQ sauce on everything. My wife used it to dunk her fries in it. The chicken also had that great smoke taste to it like the Tri-Tip. In the pictures, I ordered take out so the plates and table is from home. Ross served me today. He's a really nice guy and made some good recommendations. The food came quickly too. The staff plus Ross packed it up nice and the food made it safely to home and still hot. Inside the restaurant (sorry no pictures due to people dining) was great. Decorations of old signs, license plates, and miscellaneous pieces gives this place a good feeling of BBQ in America. Old classic rock was the music of choice on my visit. The smell of BBQ smoke in the air was inviting. 100% I would return for some great BBQ. Looking forward to eat another serving of my new favorite Tri-Tip in BBQ sauce.
hi all! i felt like all american bbq doesn't get the hype it really deserves. FANTASTIC FOOD AND FANTASTIC SETTING! i've come here a few times now because i was so amazed by the pulled pork sandwich when i came here the first time. i'm not a huge fan of big cuts of meat or bbq in general but this was fantastic. they have two (i think different kinds of bbq- regular spicy. both are extremelyyyyy flavorful and amazing. it's the best tasting bbq sauce i've ever had and i even tell people that. the menu is extremely vast so there's plenty of options for everybody. the cornbread i got on the side was yummy and felt like a homemade meal by your mother. there's a bunch of different sides you can get. the workers are quick, efficient, and super nice. the prices are fantastic for the caliber of food you get. this bbq is much better in my opinion than big chain restaurants such as Lucille's BBQ. i keep going back because i keep craving it. Sorry guys.The food here is not good.I used a flyer that came in the mail. I want to support a small business, but this is just not good.Small portions for the cost (I'm not a big portion person, but the price was way too high for what we got)We had take out, but I saw the dining room and I was glad I wasn't eating there....why? There is an office in the dining room...not a separate office, mind you...one of the dining room tables in the dining room with stacks of papers, a printer and a computer. It's kind of off to the side, but it stands out...very strange.Portions 1 starFlavor 2 starsDining experience 1 star.I'm sorry to give this rating but we were pretty disappointed.
Had dinner last night at their new location on Platt Vanowen (used to be a Chinese Restaurant) The food was fantastic! I had the Tri Tip Chicken plate (2 pieces of chicken), Roasted Potatoes, and Cornbread. Everything was very tasty. I had been to their Northridge location a couple of times, but thoroughly enjoy this location more. Their smoker for the meats is right outside the front door to get into the restaurant which means that BBQ smell follows you in and follows you out. Will definitely come back!
