This restaurant is truly legendary. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner's nephew/son during lunch and he was a really nice guy from a great family. They have been open for over 40 years and I wish them another 40 years of success. It's a family-owned and operated establishment and everyone there is friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing, with high-quality meat and cheeses and delicious bread. I recommend getting your sandwich toasted to enhance the flavors. I had the turkey and cheese sandwich with all the toppings and it was fantastic. The portion size is generous and the prices are very reasonable. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially during lunch time, but calling ahead...
This is one of the three best sub shops in the valley! They really pile on the meats, cheeses and topping and are always busy. These must use some quality meats because everything I order is so very tasty. The price for a foot long is excellent and well worth it. Enough for two people. macaroni salad is mediocre supposedly homemade, but tastes like store bought. If you arrive during lunch expect a line out the door, but you usually get your sandwich within 5 10 minutes. My only complaint is that the parking sucks revision but I guess we can park down the street at the Thrifty Gas station! Nice! Thanks!
I have been frequenting this restaurant for around 20 years. Without a doubt, my favorite sandwich is the #19 - it never disappoints. The potato salad is also fantastic. The quality of the food and the customer service are top-notch, and I am always impressed by how efficient they are. I hope new customers will enjoy it as much as us regulars do.
I have heard great things about this restaurant from my colleagues and I finally had the chance to visit. The verdict? It's just okay. The only standout feature is the option to make the sandwich really large. The meat used is average grocery store quality and it is served on soft bread. It's not terrible, just okay. I recently had the most amazing sandwich ever! I was so hungry that I was shaking, but I walked 5 minutes to get a sandwich at this restaurant. It was warm and delicious! I'm not sure if it was because I was so hungry, but this is definitely the best sandwich I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back!
