Almazett - Réservation de table

I was expecting a bit better of Almazett, even though I'd been told that it wasn't right up there as far as middle eastern restaurants go. Even so, we had a meal here that was certainly not unenjoyable, just nothing mind-blowing. We had a group of 8, and it took a little time to decide whether to have the banquet or just do the a la carte. Whether it was because it's more convenient for them to cook, or just better for their buck, we were encouraged by the waiter to do the banquet (which I hear often happens here). A classic Lebanese in the area. Been coming to this spot since I've arrived to Melbourne, and have always been a return customer not as much as I wish, but at least every now and then . VERY good value for me! If you ask me.. this restaurants pricing for Melbourne standards is one of my personal best. Very honest, very generous portions for such minimal prices. The way its really done in the Middle East. It proves you can eat a quantity quality food for less in this city : thanks for the continuous great and generous food guys! ask them for the garlic dip for your meats! or even potatoes ; Batata harra.. one of my absolute favorites.

Very good Lebanese cuisine,<br/ <br/ The food and service is good but I particularly enjoyed the banquet. It was perfect for my large group, offering variety and excellent portions. Whilst i prefer the Lebanese cuisine establishments on Sydney Road, this is still good and definitely worth a visit.

Very authentic, homemade authentic food. We had the mezza banquet for 2 and all the food was great. The babaganoush was a standout. Nice ambience, staff were friendly, but the food was the real highlight (as it should be).For authentic Lebanese food, definitely recommend Almazett. Réservez une table maintenant

Pretty good place decor and food is amazing we ordered the banquet and while the food is great and lots of it for $50 it was way to rushed they really need to slow down times between bringing food out.. also they have belly dancers on Saturday night which was pretty cool

Amazing value and service and authentic food! Dated interior but that’s my only negative. Had the seafood banquet and was struggling to get through it all. Party of 10- some quite fussy- one vegetarian but they catered for all and everyone was very satisfied!!!!

Worth every dollar! Quality of food was amazing and service was impeccable. Very pleased and the ambience was really great. I used my Liven App tp pay and got a $50 bonus. You got to try this place out!

Delicious food. Lamb cutlets and deep fried cauliflower with tahini were my favourites. Got a seat on Friday night without any booking. Lots of people getting takeaways Réservez une table maintenant

Great place and lovely food. They have a good vegetarian spread as well. Very good service and yes, the dance was nice too. The table setting and the ambience is good.
