When someone asks for a good place to grab coffee in Melbourne, the immediate response is often, "where?" During the lockdown, my friend from Sydney was in Melbourne and the go-to choice was West 48. I had been to this café before as it was a favorite of a different friend for many years. It had been quite some time since my last visit, but the layout was familiar enough for me to remember before even seeing the name.
