I was craving for Taiwanese wheel cake 车轮饼）and found one located inside lower floor of La Puente Mall. Yeah! The store is small but pretty clean and neat! Drinks also available here. We ordered matcha red bean, custard, corn cheese, and redbean fillings. They are made fresh to order. The best to taste it Eat them all while still hot, LOL. Every time I saw alpaca, I thought about BT21 RJ. Lol saw this little cafe at the very depressing puente hills mall and also saw a lot of people waiting for their orders, I bet must be something good! I was right! They offer a great selection of boba drinks plus taikayaki with different fillings. I ordered two matcha with red bean! They were freshly made and the filling was very light and full of it. The outside was crispy and soft inside. Price is also very good 3.5 dollars per each and it's a good size!
This cafe in the mall is absolutely charming! We tried multiple items, including the fruit tea, coffee slush, peach tea, and a custard-filled wheel pie, and everything was delicious. The fruit tea had plenty of fruit bits and tasted incredibly fresh. The service was quick, and you can customize the sweetness and ice levels for any drink.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is always friendly, and the drinks I've tried so far are fantastic. I haven't sampled the treats yet, but I'm sure they are just as great!
The wheel pies were way more delicious than I expected. Good flavoring with a lot of filling and made fresh. Being fresh is the most important thing to hot pastries.
There is a self-service kiosk that allows you to receive your order more quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by how good their teas are.
Great juice! Coffee! Taiwanese sweets!
