Alt Hendesse - Réservation de table

I've probably been going to this place for twenty years. I've been one of those who didn't come back and looking for a start with a couple of colleagues. I thought about this hotel, but after reading some of the critikens about the bad service, I hesitated. but I dared the jump and we went, about ten of us. it was as I had in memory - good eating, nice, cozy atmosphere and the service was in order. the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend it without delay.

we have literally stumbled into this restaurant after we had visited the heilingenberg (heiliger berg). inconspicuous outer (we were not sure whether they were open at all) but lively interior. great food - excellent service - very reasonable prices. seems to be a local favorite (which I usually consider as a good sign).

one of my favorite tourist sites in heidelberg in a suburb called handschussheim. you can reach it by taxi or tram and are within about five minutes walking distance. great eating at a reasonable price and fantastic local wine or beer. much fun at this traditional place where the time seems to stand still

we went to dinner after we had read the guide and all the good reviews on tripadvisor. but the service wasn't kind at all, they looked like they didn't like their job. eating was very average. the salat was an uninspired baptism of lola pink and a little cheap feta. it felt more like a tourist trap. beautiful place, wonderful service. ambiente first class. prices very reasonable for portions, standards of eating. wine and beer excellent. had the rumpsteak with swirling, pork (sweet delicious) and late zle with pork. all the dishes were delicious. highly recommended.

we have been going to this restaurant for several years because it has the best kitchen with a distance in the spacious heidelberg. in these days we stay in frankfurt, but we miss no visit! excellent German dishes served in a traditional ambiente.

very cozy, old restaurant. excellent German food and good wine selection. there is also an outside terrace on the back.
