The restaurant Altes Landhaus is in a quiet location not far from the centre of Nieblum. They offer nothing fancy but gut solid fare that is well presented and excellently cooked. Particularly fish should be regarded as their speciality and is always worth a try. Service can be a bit over efficient (I know that sounds impossible but believe me they manage to do exactly that). Which means if you want to order two drinks, for example, – let’s say a glass of water AND a glass of wine – make sure you grab them by their shirt sleeves first and get a good grip. Portions and quality of food were good and fairly priced. Nieblum is a very nice small village, and this place has a very nice garden if you want to sit outside. The only negative was the very slow (but still friendly) service. Would always eat here again.
We have visited this restaurant many times before but never managed to leave a review. Today we were a party of 7 , appetizers as well as mains have a steady quality . Food came quick and everything tasted delicious. We will return. Keep it up!
