Altona Bowling Club

I meetup with Family and we decided to have lunch, i ordered the Lambs fry. It didnt taste right and offered some to my family to try. They also said that it wasnt cooked probably. I took it back and was told i couldn't get a refund but i could order another dish. I told them i didn't want a refund but simply just wanted to let them know that the food wasn't cooked probably. This was the second time i had eaten at the Club, the first meal was Roast pork, which was 2 weeks before the second episode. The pork was dry and the crackling was heated in the microwave. I gave them 2 chances and both times they let me down with quality of the food and service. I haven't been back since.

We have been here a few times. Basic menu, but all the dishes we've had here have been very good. Roasts are always excellent. Fish and chips very good. Nice bistro overlooking the bowling greens. As you would expect drinks are all reasonably priced. Food is well above par to what you would typically get served at any Bowls Club/RSL/Sports Club or pub coutner meal.

We held our work Christmas party at this restaurant. Even though we brought our own food for a BBQ, David and Ash went above and beyond to ensure our evening was wonderful. The facilities were excellent as well. I will definitely be coming back with my family and friends.

Altona's secret gem. Perfect place for a family dinner. Kid's meals???? Parmas ???? Desserts ????Prices ???? We just can't fault this place & look forward to another visit soon. Réservez une table maintenant

Wonderful restaurant with delicious food, enjoyable gaming machines, welcoming environment. Can get a bit crowded at times, but definitely a place worth returning to.

this place is not great, food ordinary, not a lot of choices, service OK, a bit like a country pub with raffles and numbers to collect food.

We had a relaxed Sunday afternoon playing bowls with some beers and music. The people were great and the food was always delicious.
