I used to love this place it’s hours are very convenient for a graveyard shift worker like me. But something happened to the staff or quality control. I used to order nothing but the bean and cheese burrito. Simple and cheap. But every time I’d order it in recent memory it was cold enough the cheese hasn’t melted or my instance on no onions was ignored. So i switched to the carne asada burrito I love how meaty it is and it’s pretty good. But still the staff either can’t hear or doesn’t care because my request for no onions is never honored. Then when I had my wife return the messed up order they claimed called my wife a liar (not their exact words). And when I got my new order it still had o...

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had me and my boyfriend sat and waited at the drive through for a while with no answer finally we decide to leave when we do someone actually answers takes our order we get the food we go home I open the box to eat my burrito first thing I noticed was its pretty soggy but i brushed it off im hungry whatever as i start to cut into It and eat I notice something else it was undercooked and there was absolutely no meat what so ever in my beef burrito except two shreds in the beginning of the burrito as an attempt to hide the fact they didn't put any in the rest of it i am so disgusting and disappointed
So, I decided to switch to the carne asada burrito, which I really enjoy for its meaty goodness. But unfortunately, the staff either can’t hear my requests or simply don’t care, because I still end up with onions despite asking for none. The last straw was when my wife went to return the incorrect order, and the staff implied she was lying (not in those exact words, but it was clear). When I finally got my new order, it still had onions, but I was too frustrated to address it again.
I ordered cheese fries, but it seems like the cheese didn't want to stick around, and I was really disappointed. I also got my husband the steak and egg breakfast burrito, but surprise—it had no cheese either. I tried the #9, which was supposed to be a plate of two cheese enchiladas, but there was hardly any cheese on them. All this cost nearly $30! From now on, I think I'll stick to Alfredo's Mexican Food on Bluff Street. Réservez une table maintenant
This place was average at best for Mexican food. I had the California burrito. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. It tasted like a burrito I would pre-make before a camping trip, and then warm up for breakfast. Unfortunately I left underwhelmed. However the people working there were really pleasant.
During my last visit, I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito, and unfortunately, it made me feel quite ill. The bacon was undercooked, almost raw. My experiences at Alvaro's have been inconsistent; some visits have been great, while others have been terrible. It's really a gamble.
Alvaro?s Mexican Food was just ok. The food was bland and needed salt. The salsas also had little flavor. The portion size were good and the overall ingredients were good. Just lacked flavor. The service was great! Friendly and fairly quick.
Great food!! but I ordered a fish burrito and got home 15 miles away and find that I?ve got a breakfast burrito. ? Way to crush my craving I had been looking forward to! Dang. Plus there?s stuff in the breakfast burrito I can?t eat. Réservez une table maintenant
Don’t get the carne asada fries burrito. It seems like they can make a carne asada burrito fine, but if you ask for fries in it, they really have no clue how to make that because it sucks every time.

"The halibut was fresh, in-season and the light batter was to die for! The restaurant had spectacular views, airy and flooded with sunlight. My sister had the bison burgers and thought they were very tasty...not dry for being so lean."
