Food is okay, no problem with it, but it's the bad service that ruins the experience. Very badly trained and disastrous staff. Which is Coke Zero? an Asian guest asked. The young waiter gave us a few bottles of coke and said: Must be one of these and left. But who is it? We insisted, now in German. Again he said he didn't know, but it must be one of the glasses of coke. Then the waiter was told in German that the coke Zero was ordered by a person who has diabetes, to whom he shouted back to us I DON 'T SPEAK ENGLISH! Of course, with this level of service and training they are not ready to deal with diversity. There are many restaurants in Cuxhaven, many of which offer excellent service.

After I almost searched for decent food in Cuxhaven, if, at another(! Location, I was served cappuccino with spray cream (remembered in the 1980s, we went to this restaurant with low expectations. But we where we blown away. The restaurant itself has the right mix of retro-chic, the waiters are very attentive, but not too much. And the food was fabulous, the steak was on the point, and the presentation was also great, it wasn't too pricy. We ended the evening with some cuddly nubs and I would definitely go back there, that would not have been our last night in Cuxhaven.

This restaurant is in a very beautiful, traditional style. They offer a quite wide selection of different dishes each will find sthg. Qauntity is (close) US standard, really means large portions. As a result value for money. Service is friendly and efficient. No long waiting, but not too fast

Went here for dinner and ordered a steak. Steak was tender but lacked the flavor I was hoping for. The staff is very nice and speaks English. However, the menus are in German only

It has become a must when I'm on a short trip. The seafood is deilicious and the dessert variation in offer is absolutely stunning.
