Ambiente Italiano - Réservation de table

No signage visible at night. I thought it was someone's residence but my husband went by the GPS. We were greeted right away and the waiter took our coats and hung them up and took us to our table. This was on a Wednesday evening. Not very crowded. They did have a English menu which we were grateful. Also the waiter spoke good English. I would have LOVED to do the tasting menu but my husband is not as adventurous with eating. I could have still done it if he didn't order the tasting menu but the prices are more expensive.I ordered the Lasagna. Husband ordered a pork dish. In the past when staying at Frankfurt airport we've gone into the town, which has cost a fortune in taxi fares. Looking for somewhere nearer I discovered this seriously authentic Italian restaurant offering both a trattoria and an upscale menu, so everything from Pizza to serious dining.The service was very good, the food was absolutely excellent. I had pasta with rapini after a very good antipasto. We were sat in the main restaurant but requested the trattoria menu and there was no problem at all. If you have to spend a night at Frankfurt airport don't eat at the hotel, get in a taxi and try this place, and they'll order a cab to take you back. It was wonderful and I'll be back next year I...

We stayed at the Hilton airport hotel and wanted a nice dinner without driving too far. It was a Monday night and options were limited. Following a good review in Tripadvisor, we called Ambiente and got a table for 2, no problem. It was a little hard to find even it was just an 18 Euro distance by cab. The restaurant came somewhat up to it's good reviews. Nice place, people dressed nice but not over the top. The wait staff, just a bit arrogant, not even triying to speak English. Glad I am fluent in German. The food was good, but nothing to write home about.Still, we would go back as it is safe and convenient from the airport.

Das Ambiente ist sehr gut. Die Kellner sollten etwas schneller und genauer arbeiten, weil alles ewig dauert und die Getränke waren vergessen. Ich hatte Pasta, die geschmacklich gut war aber die Portionsgrösse war maximal die einer Vorspeise. Ähnlich ging es meiner Mutter. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für mich garnicht, schade. Tuesday end of June the whole management spent here at the restaurant a nice evening in the garden. Very good food and very tasty of high quality. Oils give here easy 5 star, but took little too long time to serve. We arrive at 19.15 and got main course 2 hour later. All other things like atmosphere and price was very ok.

From 7.20 to 9.30 and no main course so we left. Such a shame and a pity on our last night of an amazing trip. Don't go if you're in a hurry. Or don't want to spend the night there.

Breath taking view if you eat on the terrace. Really good and the staff is nice.. definately next time I am i Frankfurt I will come here to eat..

Great place close to Frankfurt airport, 5 km. Great food, nice view and large wine selection. Good for business dinners
