Now, that's the real mccoy, real old style British fish n chips the chips are cooked twice to the right wise and not digging from a freeze bag. cook them partially, rest them and then cook a finished cook when they order them. to brown and crack the chips here are all fresh cut and the teig is really authentic and something they have imagined from their childhood. boiled in clean fat and regularly cleaned and changed the deep fried taste is clean without oily old aftertaste. the chips are the best chips that they get in perth and are equal in quality to duck fat chips or wagyu fat boiled chips by rockpool. general services and we are never disappointed in 15 years!

I recently enjoyed a fantastic fish burger and chips at Phoenix Corner Cafe. The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy batter, served with salad and tartar sauce on a large sesame seed roll. The chips were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, simply delicious. I couldn't eat it fast enough, it was that good. The friendly service and beautiful smiles from the staff made the experience even better. Thank you to the team at Phoenix Corner Cafe for a wonderful meal.

This place was not wow even though they have high rating from others. We needed to make a reservation and got lucky to get a spot an hour later.

This small restaurant is next door to a famous one, La Meranda - which always seems booked, crowded and noisy.
