Took my little girl to the American Pasta Factory. She ordered pizza and I ordered chicken fettuccine with added shrimp, and veggies. Since it was our 1st time, one of the guys came from behind the counter to assist. The service was pretty fast. The restaurant was pretty quiet because there weren't many people. The pizza was good but a little too charred on the bottom. The fettuccine looked and smelled amazing bit I felt like the pasta was a bit undercooked. I wanted to love it but couldn't get past the texture of the pasta. I would try it one more time to see if it were just a fluke. Other than that, it was just an ok experience.
I've passed by this place a number of times only to be discouraged by the lack of patrons, but I should not have been so quick to judge. This place really is quite good! The variety of choices to build your own pizza/pasta was superb, and (at least the options we chose) were fresh, from scratch, and delicious. Pricing is reasonable and portions are filling, too. All in all, I'm surprised I haven't seen more people here. Give this place a shot, you won't regret it!
My kids devoured their spaghetti and meatballs before I could grab a bite but I assume it was delicious! my husband and I both made our own pasta. So many choices for pasta, toppings, and sauces! It’s a little hard to see the board o Ceo your close to ordering but still deciding- maybe have some printed menus you could carry -as you wait in line would be helpful? There are labels once you’re at the window but I know I needed extra time to pick.
First time there for us. Pasta was excellent. We make our own from scratch so we are pretty good judges of authenticity. Vodka sauce was excellent. Flavor was southern Italian cooking, which embraces the flavor and doesn’t kill it with spices. I learned to cook Sicilian from my father in law years ago. They do a good job.
We thought we were getting there at opening time on Sunday. Turned out to be closing time. We were welcomed in and we were none the wiser until the end of our delicious meal. Our meals were cooked to order in front of us with everything so fresh. Delicious and light! We will definitely be back.
