I absolutely adore this restaurant. The prices are unbelievable! Their diner food is fantastic, especially for breakfast. They have Covid shields set up for privacy, which is nice. I went around lunch time and they were quite busy, but I managed to get a table without waiting. If you prefer local independent restaurants over national and international chains, you will love Amigo's. It's wonderful to see a local business doing such a great job. Well done! As for parking, there aren't many street spots available, but I was able to find a spot just two spaces away around noon.
Great pancakes. I don’t even like pancakes but it came with my omelette so I had some. I ended up finishing the pancakes without looking up once. Hands down the best pancakes in town. Beautiful carb angels melting in your mouth in a swirl of buttery syrupy goodness. Also, I don’t know what kind of syrup they use but it’s not as sweet as the usual stuff but adds to the buttery taste. Avoid the table near the back because you’ll have the washroom door banging near your ear but if it’s the only table open just take it and have some pancakes.
Found this little gem only a few blocks from home and couldn't be happpier! Hands down the best waffles I've ever had. Lightly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The service was fantastic! The wait staff were very friendly and the food all came out fast and hot! Have been there many times in the two years I've lived in PoCo and I would highly recommend it!
Inexpensive breakfast served with a lot of choices. Inside is decent. Not too shabby, not too bad. Quick service. A lot of seniors go here for special discount breakfast items. A lot of free parking around the block. Free coffee fill ups included. If you are looking for low key breakfast place, give it a shot Réservez une table maintenant
Very happy with our breakfast today. Traditional 2 egg breakfast with hash browns sausage and sourdough toast. Nice chunky hash browns, good sized sausages and sourdough toast was a nice option to have. Large glass of juice.Prices very reasonable! Service quick on a busy Saturday at noon.We will be back.
Amigos is a poco staple. The food is amazing, the service is well above par while giving a small town diner atmosphere. I was there for breakfast today and had left my debit card at home…without hesitation the staff let me go home to get my card and come back to pay. 10/10 highly recommend ?
