This is one of my favorite restaurants in Stamford, and I genuinely believe it's among the best in the area. Today, I tried the Margherita pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The pizza is outstanding, and Caesar really knows his craft; each pizza is always made to perfection. I visit here regularly, and the food is consistently excellent. The bartender tonight was really friendly and clearly works hard; you can tell she's quite experienced. In fact, she's the manager.
Almost 5 stars. The food is absolutely amazing. Their pizza has a great crust and was perfectly cooked. Sandwich was very well prepared too, fresh with excellent truffle fries. Outside of that the only complaint I have was slightly slow service. We waited a while to be able to order more drinks and get the check. But beyond that, we throughly enjoyed the food and will be back
Amore Cucina is such an awesome addition to the Stamford restaurant scene! I just took the family there for the second time and, once again, the food and service were great. They also offer a full bar area with a great vibe. Go there to enjoy something from their complete Italian menu, a wood-fired pizza and a specialty drink from the bar. #givepizzachance #legalizemarinara
I had my work holiday lunch today at Amore Cucina, and it was fantastic! The appetizers were large and very tasty. I ordered the Parpardelle Pescatore for my main course, and I ended up taking half of it home because there was so much food. I can't wait to return and bring my family! The portions are generous, the dishes are excellent, and everything was just amazing! Réservez une table maintenant
I DJed a friend's Christmas party here and I really liked it. A great staff and delicious pizza make me want to go back when I'm in Stamford again. Pizza is wood fired with soft crust...just want I like! The toppings were not overdone and tasted very fresh. Unfortunately I didn't get to have anything else but I'm betting it'd be good!
I paid $25 for a tiny salad with 4 peices of shrimp in it! The salad was not fresh at all. I threw it out. The fries were so soggy, they were not edible. Soaked in grease and soggy. The delivery guy left the food sideways so the sauce dripped out. I just can't believe I paid 25$ for this horrendous salad.
Great place to bring the boys to. Many of the usual dishes that are crowd pleasers. The lasagne balls and bread went down fast. The spicy shrimp spaghetti was delicious but wish there were more than five smallish shrimp. Orecchiette needed a little more red pepper but was solid .
The atmosphere is in a new style. The service was wonderful, the calamari what a bargain. You get a lot. Dinner perfect. The bread they give you was like a focaccia bread. It was Amazing. Réservez une table maintenant
Amore has been improving with each visit. While I wasn't overly impressed during my first experience, I did enjoy it. My second visit, along with a few others, was fantastic.
