We went on a Sunday evening and hadn’t booked a table. This wasn’t a problem. Two of our guests were an hour late and the staff were very understanding about us waiting for them before ordering food. The food and drinks were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful about the food. All traditional Turkish meals and very delicious. Highly recommend if you want to experience food that is not mainstream. The Lamb shank was a favourite.
I hosted a long lunch here for my birthday, and it was perfect! The feast menu was delicious, and there was so much food! The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone at lunch commented on how good the whole afternoon was, from the food, the beverage selection, the location, the staff and the service. Thanks for a great birthday celebration!
Best customer service in Sydney! Such kind and caring staff, always friendly and smiling. Anason has a geat atmosphere and a real passion for providing am amazing dining experience in every way possible! Also accommodating for any dietary requirements. The food was brilliant, traditional cuisine made with love. The most wonderful dining experience I have ever had.
We had our anniversary dinner there on Saturday evening. We did not have a reservation but the staff still made a effort to find us a table. Food was excellent and wonderful service. Service, staff and food was amazing. I was amazed with the Turkish guy there. He explains the menu each time same level of passion to his customers. Well done Anason. I strongly recommend lamb neck fillet and hanger fillet. Sooo good !
The restaurant has excellent food and welcoming staff, with some of the best cocktails I have had in Sydney. The Old Fashioned was particularly impressive. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and each one was delicious.
