Ancell’s Fish Chips

The fish and chips here are excellent quality—definitely worth the wait! For me, the 15-minute trip is totally worth it. The wait times can vary depending on the day and time; sometimes you can get your order right away if you're lucky. I will definitely return!

The fish and chips were absolutely delicious! However, I can't give a full five stars due to their odd telephone system. It didn’t work well, and my brother-in-law and I were left waiting in the cold for several minutes past the scheduled pickup time.

Delicious batter served over a beautifully cooked piece of fish, accompanied by a generous portion of chips. Highly recommended! It’s a good idea to make a reservation in advance, as they tend to be very busy.

the best thing I've tried in this area so far. the outstanding point was that kabeljau was so moist. the teig was a little soggy. the chips were on the spot. I will take a 30 minute round trip for this! Réservez une table maintenant

The Very best Fish and Chips in the UK. I travel a lot and try others and l always prefer to travel miles to get the fresh and chunky fish and chips with a tasty crunchy batter

Best ever fish and chips I have had south of Leeds. Curry sauce exceptional and staff deserve the highest praise for efficiency and friendliness.
