I didn't know Korean chicken was a thing. However, it's definitely it's my thing now. I was doing some work at the coffee shop across the street and noticed the place and on a whim I said, let me try it and take some home to the family. The place is fairly small, not a lot of tables, but I do believe I would like to try the food there next time. It's a 20 minute ride home, but still it was really good. The chicken is really moist and the crunchy. How do I truly explain the technique.......uhhhhhhhhhhhh, don't know but it's good. They have a few sauce options. I felt they took it over the top. This place serves incredible Korean fried chicken. It's incredibly delicious, and the service is super fast. You can't go wrong with any of their sauces, but I personally prefer the chicken plain because it's juicy and perfectly seasoned. If you're not a fried chicken fan, the spicy pork is also fantastic, so you can still enjoy a great meal here. Their original location in Fishtown is awesome, so I was thrilled when they opened a spot in the suburbs. I've only ordered through DoorDash, so I can't comment on the interior, but it looks really nice from the outside based on the times I've walked by. This is definitely one of the best chicken places in the area!
I visited Andy’s Chicken with modest expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was good, and the cashier wore a mask, which made me feel safer. I ordered the half chicken and fries. The fries were excellent, scoring an 8.8 out of 10, while the chicken was a solid 6.5 out of 10—very filling as well. The prices were reasonable too. I’m not sure if I’ll return, but if you enjoy Korean fried chicken, it’s worth trying, in my opinion. Plus, the K-pop playing in the background was a nice touch!
The best fried chicken around, but don’t forget the bulgogi. It’s double fried Korean style so it’s nice and crisp. The meat is always great quality too.I’ve tried several other fried chicken places and they’re okay. But Andy’s blows them away. Great little spot. They know their fried chicken. Not local to Philly but visit in laws on the reg here. Found this place through my Yelp friends. Now passing it on. If you're in the area and have a fried chicken craving this should be your got to. It will ruin you for KFC or Popeyes. And fast, friendly and efficient to boot.
