We dined at Antonette's for the first time. The restaurant is very pretty. The owner I assume greeted us, and checked on us during the meal. The hostess was also the waitress which was a little odd. Also a bit odd... they do not have a wine menu to show you. She asked us if we wanted red or white, then told us what kind of wine they have. We are used to being able to pick a specific wine. She retrieved a bottle from California for us, and it was delicious. The food was very good. Veal marsala and veal saltimbocca. While the food and service were enjoyable, the restaurant was quite cold. The guests at the next table even remarked on it, as all four of us had to put on our jackets to keep warm. It was only briefly adjusted to a comfortable temperature before Jimmy turned it back down again. We ended up eating inside with our coats on. Jimmy does make rounds to ensure everything is in order, but he didn’t seem to do this consistently; he only sat down with two men who came in to eat, and he didn’t even say goodnight or thank us when we left. Additionally, they packed the salad to-go in the same container.
We were a group of six friends celebrating a special occasion, and we chose Antonette’s. However, when we arrived on Friday night, the place was dark and closed, despite their advertisement for a live band. They didn’t honor reservations, and no one answered the phone. It was frustrating to see that the restaurant was completely full. We weren’t the only ones left out in the cold; it seemed poorly managed. I can’t understand why they didn’t have someone available to notify guests or even call back. Overall, this experience was quite disappointing.
We went to Antonettes for dinner before a concert at LIU. We went early (5:30) reservation so it was quiet. As time went by it started to fill up. The food was so delicious (chicken scarpiello) and the chef made a puttanesca dish upon request. the waitress was very friendly n accommodating. During the meal the owner or manager came over to welcome us. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. Definitely going back!

Many people enjoyed this restaurant for the music and the dancing. Our party was not there for dancing and did not know that there would be music. So we were unable to talk over the music. Service was very good and the staff was very nice. Most people were enjoying the atmosphere.
that was our first visit. but it won't be our last. the staff was extremely attentive and far exceeded expectations. the food was absolutely delicious. the place is beautiful. all our guests were very impressed and they will be definitiw new customers this wonderful place.
Worse experience ever with a restaurant! Food was so bad had to spit out the chicken because it was hard and chewy. Never again! They should be ashamed to serve food like that!
We enjoyed a ladies night here and drank, ate amazing food and danced till 11pm! It was very fun and memorable. Perfect place for a date night also.
