I ordered takeout for lunch and had a fantastic experience! The meal was excellent, earning a solid 5 out of 5 for the food. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a perfect score of 5. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. As for the atmosphere, even though I didn't dine in, the overall vibe of the restaurant seems lovely, so I’ll give that a 5 as well. The price was reasonable, falling between $10 and $20 per person. I highly recommend this place for a great lunch!
This place is terrible. I can’t understand how they received so many 4 and 5-star reviews. We ordered the beef and lamb gyro plate as well as the chicken breast plate. Both dishes looked nice and were presented well, but unfortunately, they were very bland. It seemed like they don’t use any salt at all. The gyro meat was both dry and mushy, making it inedible—just gross! The chicken breast, while tender, had absolutely no flavor. Overall, it was all quite tasteless. I won’t be returning and I’m extremely disappointed.
Apolis is an excellent choice if you're in the mood for fast-casual Greek cuisine. I highly recommend trying the Zeus burger! It's enormous and incredibly tasty. While it is somewhat pricey, the generous portion makes it worthwhile. Plus, the quality of the meat is outstanding. The service is typically quick and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend it!
Very friendly and fast service. Great selection of delicious, Mediterranean foods and spices. The added variety adds to the price, perhaps. I've enjoyed the food each time I've been there. The souvlaki here is among the best I’ve had outside of Greece! All the protein options are excellent. You order at the counter and pick up your food when your number is called, which doesn’t take long at all. It’s a perfect spot to stop by after a walk around the Arboretum.
Great food! I usually skip breakfast so that I can order the pork gyros plate with Greek salad and Greek fries for lunch. Huge portion! It's so nice to have a Greek restaurant that does fresh pork gyros instead of the premade beef/lamb that you can findanywhere else.
