Randomly chose this restaurant as a change for a Sunday night takeaway and was really pleased with the food. Not easy to get an authentic madras curry these days but this one was pretty close to a proper madras. Nice to see yellow pilau rice again, not seen that for a while. Both of our curries were very tasty and the quality of the chicken was good. Pappadoms fresh and starters good. The waiter who served me was polite and friendly and the food was ready on time. Price was good bearing in mind the restaurant quality of the food. I only live a few miles away and will definitely return to eat in this restaurant soon. Can’t believe I did not know about this restaurant.
Our family of 7 have just left Appayon Indian Restaurant in Poynton. Such a busy restaurant for Christmas day. Yet the service was quick, friendly, and professional . And the food was undoubtedly delivered by a team of friendly, approachable staff. They worked hard to make our Christmas day special, and their friendliness, helpfulness, and energy made it a wonderful family Christmas meal. We can't thank them enough. As for the chef and his kitchen team, they delivered hot, fresh, and fabulous food that everyone enjoyed and loved. Thank you
Chose here for a mid-week catch up with mates and didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and attentive (even if they thought we were talking about football when it was rugby) without being over bearing. Clearly I can only comment on my meal which was the chef special garlic butter chicken which was exceptional. All 6 of us had different main courses with no complaints and lots of empty plates. Finished off with the traditional free chocolate and shot of Baileys you'd be hard pressed to find a better value for money curry in the area.
Had a takeaway from here last night it arrived really quickly and the food was hot thats where it stopped the poppadoms where burnt and tasted awful the currys were quiet bland and small portions have eaten in tbe restaurant a couple of times and wasn't very impressed then but every where deserves a second chance unfortunately we've not been impressed at all and won't be returning again

Ordered my takeaway for New years Eve the day before. Cannot fault that it was ready when i arrived to collect. but having taken 5 mins back home with it,it was lukewarm and the Biriani rice was Greasy. What should have been an enjoyable meal ,turned out to be a big dissapointment. Very unimpressed,considering meals eaten inside the place were good.
Magnificent food! Everything you would want from an indian restaurant. Brilliant service by super friendly and attentive waiters. Ive been here many times and its so good I can never decide which dish I want cos they are all fabulous and super tasty. The place is clean, the atmosphere is friendly and their takeaways are awesome too!
We had an amazing takeaway on the Friday before Christmas. The restaurant sounded really busy when I phoned but the quality of the food was still excellent. The curries we ordered were all different (not like the similar sauce bases you get in other places). It was delivered on time and was delicious. Highly recommend.
Oh amazing!! We went for the early bird and it was well worth it. Food was so yummy, no wait, great banter with staff and owner was a right laugh. Very highly recommended especially for the food.
