Yes the food here is great. Kelsey served me she was lovely. As in really nice. It’s a training cafe but don’t be afraid, they are really good and looked after myself and my guest really well. I am proud to support that place and will definitely return and very soon. I have also heard the afternoon teas are exceptional. I wasn’t sure about ordering poached eggs because they are tricky but Kelsey assured me they can do them and they were great. The tea was in a non leaking teapot and the coffee was brilliant. Great welcome service by all those learning the trade, from taking food drink orders, payment preparation cooking of food, serving on this occasion a HUGE jacket potato, full to the brim of vegetarian chilli 'n cheese, salad coleslaw, costing £6 only. When asked by a friendly waiter If everything was OK ? Smilng i showed him my clean plate said I think so ... the proof is on the plate, i 've literally cleaned up, it was d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s!
We had a small breakfast it's always absolutely fantastic executed perfectly poached or fried fried bread is available which is a special treat but fantastic it really is brilliant value for money and the staff are really lovely don't forget to give them a tip we love it definitely definitely recommend it as the best breakfast in Lincoln.
Came here from a recommendation and it certainly was worth it. Staff all seem to be training and a excellent job they did, two of us had a small cooked breakfast, great value for money and food stayed hot from start to finish,not many cafes I've been to manage that. Certainly recommend and will return. An enterprise well worth supporting.

Fantastic breakfast served up by happy smiley staff. Great produce and good size portion. Food arrived piping hot and presented well on the plate. Accompanied by a good sized pot of tea and a large coffee. Great value for money, will definitely be back.
First ever visit. This is a training cafe, and it was a delight. Staff so attentive and the coffee and toasted teacakes were first class. Would really recommend a visit after a walk round the arboretum.
Great breakfast, cooked perfectly, great friendly staff, poached eggs was the best I've had in years, will definitely be going again soon
