A typical traditional neighbourhood style pub. It's been at this location for so many years. It's an icon to be visited. Through the years it has expanded providing enough room for entertainment. It has a simplistic beer and food menu. Service could be quicker but it is polite and we received what we ordered. And It was good. Live music was being played but it wasn't too loud that we couldn't hear each other talk. In fact a good part of the ambience was the chatter you could just hear from other groups enjoying a night at Archibalds. It could do with a freshen up but in a way it's tired look is a part of that ambience.If you haven't been give it a try. You never know I might be there as well...
My BF and I decided to check out this neighbourhood pub after hearing about the Flying Governor's band playing on a Saturday night. Sadly, our experience was not as great as we had hoped. The beer we ordered tasted flat, and I was particularly disappointed with the IPA I got. The food was also not as great as we expected, even with reduced expectations for pub food.Our server Ariana was attentive and friendly, she was quick to bring drinks and had a great attitude.Overall, the ambiance and live music were decent, but the flat beer and not-so-tasty food were a letdown. We might consider giving this pub another chance, though, hoping for a better experience next time.
Can’t tell if the owner is worse at her job or her management. Came here multiple Saturday's and every time, we got our food before our drinks because the bartender looked asleep and high out of her mind and it wasn’t even that busy. For the quality of the work, the girls behind the bar need to get off their high horse and try to look awake. Unfortunately, every time they get decent staff, they’re gone after a few months. Other days, Management is always screaming at someone or in a bitter mood. What’s the point of having management when the owner always has to be there to make sure they can do their job.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for locals to hang out. It's one of the first places where I've had liver cooked perfectly and tasting delicious. The entire menu is excellent and very reasonably priced. Both regulars and newcomers frequent this establishment. They even have karaoke nights! I've been coming here for years and will definitely be back again.

My friends and family from various towns came together at Archibalds Pub in Richmond Hill for a reception on Saturday, July 9th at 6:00pm. We were impressed by the excellent staff, outstanding service, and delicious meals that were generously portioned. Guests were even able to take leftovers home. I highly recommend Archibalds Pub.
Went here Friday night for karaoke. The crowd is quite nice, good atmosphere.. Staff were friendly upon arrival and checked up on our large party regularly. For a bar/pub the food was really impressive and it was reasonably priced. Not from Richmond hill but this place is worth the drive. Cant wait to come back.
It’s old school in a fun way and the service is on point. From the iconic 4-sided fireplace to the weird wooden ceiling this place is an absolute classic. If there is anything not to your liking the bartender will fix it with pleasure. This is truly a treasure in Richmond Hill. The food is solid too.
I went to this restaurant for lunch today and was thoroughly impressed. The French onion steak sandwiches were amazing, Meri provided excellent service, and the music on the patio was just right. I would definitely recommend this place.

Awesome place to hang out if you like friendly regulars. Never an issue and food is the best in Richmond Hill. One of the only places in RH where you can get Cod Fish good and fresh.
Great place. We had a great time. We tried different kinds of wings, perfect.
