Have been here before for café food and snacks etc. Went for a special work lunch and had restaurant service, almost - silver service.Food was good with a medium variety, some standard pub fare fish chips, parma etc. Nice variety of light options and quite a few Gluten Free selections. I had an entrée of Pumpkin Soup (as main) and when they brought the dinner rolls around I enquired if GF bread or roll was available. They brought 2 bits of lightly toasted GF homestyle bread and then when soup arrived I suggested it would be nice instead of the slice of Panini. They might have got 5 stars if the server had thought of that - attention to detail etc.Dessert selection was small but I was excit...
I wasn't expecting the service or food quality provided by Arco in the middle of an industrial area in Dandenong. From a good selection of healthy meal options we both opted for the warm lamb salad - it was tasty and with plenty of meat. This was to be accompanied by a WA Cab Merlot but we were warned that the bottle had been open for a couple of days and it would be past is best - we had a taste and agreed so we chose the shiraz. Great outdoor seating area which i am sure is full in summer as it is perched over a wetlands pond. Wine is offered by the glass and bottle. Seriously it is an odd setting considering the surrounds but i am envious of those working in the area.
I work locally so my hubby came to take me to lunch. Disinterested staff standing around chatting. I had to ask for a menu then try to get one of the waitresses attention several times for her to come over (it wasn't busy at the time we visited). She rolled her eyes because I interrupted her chat and dawdled over. I asked about light meals such as sandwiches and she proceeded to rattle off the various items available - while gazing out the window and playing with her ponytail. We left without ordering as I refuse to pay money when the staff are clearly disinterested
This is an excellent cafe restaurant located in the middle of an industrial park. Modern decor with alfresco seating available it overlooks a waterway and you feel you are in the country rather than the badlands. It is good quality food, pastas, steaks, chicken, etc so something for all palettes and generous sized portions catering for hungry local business people. Service is good and fast so people having to be back at work quickly get fed. I've been a few times and it is consistently good. It can get busy on Friday particularly in summer so worth booking. Hi love how these people welcome you with open arms. After a couple of days going at the same time they even remeber your order. Lovely people and food tastes good too. Keep up the good work and see you next time. Small cap, jumbo cap, 2x jumbo skinny fw why like skinny makes a difference
Visiting a bland a bog standard industrial zone in deepest darkest Dandenong- needed some lunch and a space to do a quick proposal. What a find this place is not you big standard diner you normally find. It's a good Restraunt, would not be out of place in the centre of Melbourne. Thanks
