I have walked by Arepas Pues several times in the past and finally decided to give it a try, and I was not disappointed. Arepas are handmade corn cakes that are similar to Salvadoran pupusas. The arepas I tried were filled with beef and cheese and were delicious. My wife enjoyed the Arroz con Pollo dish. We will definitely add Arepas Pues to our list of favorite restaurants.
We were new to this restaurant and wanted to try a bit of everything. The Cubano was delicious and the Ajico soup, too. Fresh ingredients and a great taste. We also got the toston super with beef which was amazing- tender meet and very fresh components. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely be back.
The service has significantly declined at this restaurant. I recently ordered a meal and received a platter that was mostly filled with arepa and yuca, with very little meat. The arepa tasted stale. I do not recommend ordering this dish for $19.08, as the portion size and quality were disappointing.

Very small portions. Ordered 2 Cuban sandwiches and they barely had any meats but 3 slices of cheese. I guess to fill in for the lack of meat. Very expensive for what you get. Maybe covid prices and portions. Not worth it.
The services has changed a lot! Today I just got a picada and honestly it was 80% arepa and yuca and no to much meat. The arepa taste old. I don?t recommend the picada for a $19.08 you can see the picture
The service was really bad, food is not that good Either, the flavor of the food is not good, we drove an hour to come here based on the pictures and other reviews but we left very disappointed.
I ordered the jalapeño and beef empanadas and the arepa basket. The food was quite delicious. It was very tasty. I would definitely like to return soon.
