We´ve been visiting CaraVen for 10 years now and it always has been very pleasurably. Especially since the Chinese couple has taken over the location 5 years ago. They are always friendly and the service is very rapid. The food has a good quality and is always prepared freshly. But people have to understand that the CaraVen is not a Gourmet restaurant. It is a simple bar with decent food and a great view. The prices have been very fair over the entire time.
We were here after a walk through the Malpais and sat on the outside terrace with our dog. The friendly proprietor changed the wine without grumbling as we found it to be too fruity, there was no charge for the 2 glasses he had to trow away. So the week after we came back to this place with friends. The food is simple but good and not expensive. The service is very good.
