If you are Mexican or love to eat spicy Mexican food this place is not for you. I read some reviews saying that didn’t have any flavor or so little salt. So, even though I was a little scare to eat here I was in the mood of Mexican food and this was the closest one to our driving road. The food was good, but not amazing; I which they don’t put cheese or whatever was on the rice and beans. The chicken soup looks delicious and my gringo bf loves it (the put avocado as topping which I love and you will too). We also ordered shrimp quesadilla which was ok, and the mix fajitas was good, but I could be better (I can’t tell what the miss to be perfect), but to be honest I was expecting a little mor...

We were on I-26 heading East in ridiculous traffic when I started to get hungry. We had just passed the Orangeburg exit, and there were only fast food options showing up on the map. Insert Yelp, I found this restaurant on our route just .6 miles off of I-95! We were able to jump off of I-26 (thanks Google maps) and take a cutover to get to I95. We pulled in on a Friday night at 5:30 and the parking lot was full! I think we hit the jackpot! The woman parking at the same time said, park anywhere, you are in the country. Ok, good start, lots of people are here, and the customers are friendly. I referred back to one of the reviews and ordered the same combo. A taco, a chalupa, and a tostada. I w...
The absolute worst Mexican I've ever had. Every plate we ordered was BLAND. No spice, no flavor, no anything. I ordered the $25 mocajete which was smaller than an order of fajitas and far more expensive. Playing chicken and beef with some measly onions and canned cactus. TERRIBLE, and even worse it's the highest priced mocajete I've ever had. The burrito de la roqueta was bland and not put together according to my daughter. My wife had the choripollo. The chicken tasted VERY weird and the so-called chorizo tasted like ground beef with ketchup on it. This place is NOTHING like authentic Mexican. Absolutely nothing. So 70 bucks later, we're disappointed and writing this review. Waitress was ho...
Wherever a Molcajeta or Coronaritas is served, I ordered it. They are always different in some interesting way. Here, they diced the cactus, making it, um, difficult to avoid, and it was quite pleasant! the smaller chunks marinated in the bowls juices made it very nice! This mean is the Mexican meal of kings! if you're a king you need to order this! best wishes, fellow King! Réservez une table maintenant

If I could, I would give this place 6 stars! The food was fantastic, the beer was ice cold, the service was outstanding, and the bill was half of what we usually pay! Attention vegetarians: check out the dessert section; that’s where the vegetarian fajitas are surprisingly located! It's odd but true!!!!
It seems that many positive reviews are coming from family and friends. Unfortunately, this is the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The meat had an unpleasant, dirty grill flavor, and without that, it would have been completely bland! Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
