"A great shame that we were not able to sit inside. The staff did try but I suspect that the top floor had not been opened. The staff are charming and helpful and overcome the problem of having lunch outside in the freezing. Good Pizzas too."

I went to Arnouva restaurant on Friday with my daughter. It was raining outside so we wanted a hot drink and to sit inside. My daughter is only four and Arnouva is the only restaurant on the ski run that she can do. A very rude Portuguese waitress told us that we had not reserved and, therefore, she could not serve us. This is the second occurrence from this lazy woman. The seats we sat at were empty. I did suggest that they put a sign up outside to stop guests going in, getting their helmets and jackets off etc. The waitress stormed off and then the commis came from the kitchen to say that they were full. No wonder they cannot cope if the kitchen staff are not organising the cooking etc. and have to do the job of the waitresses. This meant that we did not have enough time to get any lunch. Not good for the economy in Crans-Montana. Guests want to spend money but there is nowhere to spend it. Arnouva has added more outside tables for self-service and this seems to have interfered with the quality of service inside. My suggestion is to go to Zerodix where the atmosphere is good, the staff are professional and you always get served. They also give out free sirop for children whereas Arnouva charges 2CHF for a small glass. Arnouva needs to be run by restauranteurs and not ski instructors!

We booked this restaurant for its location at the bottom of the mountain where ski school ends. It was very convenient to reserve a table there for lunch off the slopes. I went there 8 days in a row and enjoyed the fondue with champagne and the large mixed salad (salade mêlée) with the soupe du jour. Restaurant has a good list of local wines, fendant, and serves a local beer on draft.

The Restaurant used to be ok. For this year it has been restructured and it's now self service only though still high priced, very small menue choice and not really good food. It's the only Restaurant which you can easily visit with Children, with the Kids Playground and slopes just a footstep away. But noe we try to circumvent the Arnouva Restaurant as far as possible.

Located just at the top of the free gondola out of Montana, this is on a sunny spot over looking the nursery ski area. As with most places here, prices are on the high side. A basic Margarita Pizza is 15 and they increase from there. Service isn't that good. The waiters seemed distarcted the whole time and had to be asked 2-3 times for things.
