AROI THAI Restaurant

First of all I have to acknowledge that the food is good and very authentic and living in Bangkok I can judge that. But the service would make headless chickens proud. We had made a reservation which however couldn't be found until I showed the reservation confirmation. This was grumpily acknowledged. The famous Thai smile has obviously not found its way to Vienna. We ordered 3 dishes of which only 2 were served. The older lady who brought the bill just blamed the young girl who took the order rather than dealing with it herself. The wine we had was very nice but the Singha beer was lukewarm. Pity, it could have been an enjoyable evening based on the quality of food we had.

Being huge Thai food fans we were curious to try this place based on all the positive reviews. The food is definitely authentic and they also get credit for having several 'unique ' items on the menu. They also have more items on the menu (even than some of our favorite Thai in Vienna). Service is very good and prices are reasonable. But, this comes in as the 3rd best Thai in Vienna (in our view) behind Thai Issan (nearby) and Mamamon in the 8th dist. Those seem even MORE authentic and are smaller and not so 'high volume ' oriented as this place.

Wow! World class Thai from European Mild to Thai Hot. Simply the best Tad Mun Plah we have had in years. Wonderful extensive menu with good service to match the food. We would go again for lunch or dinner if our stay in Vienna was longer. Next trip must!

The food was really delicious, and the service was great. Staff were friendly and efficient at serving us our meals. The food myself and my friends had was so fresh and tasty, and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit if I come back to Vienna again.

Excellent food, just a great restaurant. Come here since many years, quality just perfect. Stuff is nice and I feel welcome all time.
