Before attending a concert at the Chase center, we checked out the YELP App and were pleasantly surprised to find a Latin/Peruvian restaurant nearby. The shop front was a little confusing and seemed like two businesses combined. One side was The Plant and the other side was Artesano where the cooking was done. The food at Artesano is quite good, but I've had a recurring issue with their hours of operation. For instance, their Google and Yelp listings indicate that they're open on Sundays from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. However, today (Sunday) when I arrived at noon, the restaurant was closed. There was a "closed" sign on the door, the doors were locked, and the lights were off. This marks the third time I've encountered this situation, where I've arranged to meet friends here only to find that they’ve chosen not to open at all during their advertised hours. This place was incredible. The menu was easy to navigate and full of options. The food was incredibly delicious. My wife and I had ceviche, a pork, and a chicken dish. It reminded us of our trips to Latin America and was a great dining experience. I’mso glad we found this place while visiting San Francisco!

The drunk at the table next to me! I usually enjoy a comforting meal at Artesano. After a long and exhausting 12-hour day, I came in for my first full meal of the day, only to be disturbed by a drunk patron, who was clearly encouraged by the staff as they kept serving him drink after drink!
This restaurant doesn't offer table service; you place your order at the counter, and then they bring the food to your table. I really love the decor, and the food is delicious with generous portions. I stumbled upon this place by chance and decided to give it a try. Food rating: 4/5.
The food at Artesano is incredibly delicious, always fresh and of excellent quality. I never hesitate to order seafood here. The staff is friendly, and the wait times are very short. Overall, an outstanding experience! Come here for fantastic South American cuisine.
Delicious food, a fantastic patio area, and incredibly friendly staff. This has become our new go-to spot during the week! Some of the best meals in San Francisco!

Good food, good service. Nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing special either. A solid restaurant with an interesting decor of the venue.
Amazing chilaquiles verdes! These are the best I have had in the US, hands down. I'm 100% going back to check out the rest of their menu!
