Travelling in Germany Austria I fell love with the bread baked goods that were so much more interesting than what I was used to at home so when I got home set myself to finding a German bakery in Sydney apart from the chain stores in shopping centers that import their dough rather than baking from scratch. Happily I came across this place close by have been regularly going since. If you haven't tried German bread or rolls you owe it to your self to experience the variety of tastes textures. Well worth the small change extra.
An authentic piece of Germanic baking as a 'hidden gem ' located in the back streets of Pymble. Here you 'll find artisan breads, a mix of traditional and new cakes slices. A great range of hard to source boxed and bottled specialities imported from the Fatherland. Follow the signs on the side of Monavale road to the best Pies in the district !
Authentic German pies and pretzels. Best sausage roll ever. A real hidden gem. Revisited last month. Pies have gone downhill a bit. I think the owners have passed the baking onto workers from the sub continent and they aren't as dedicated
Be sure to get here early in the day for their fresh Pretzels, and If your timing is such that they have not long been out of the oven then you are in for a treat! Pies and other bakery delights here are really good too.

An unassuming little bakery, on an unassuming little street, but filled with baked delights and german groceries. The bacon and cheese pretzel was delicious, the blueberry danish was divine. Well worth the visit!
Awesome pies, lamingtons and croissants, get there before 1pm on a saturday or selection may be a bit limited. Awesome store, great discovery!
These are the best soft pretzels I've ever had! I've been a customer at this bakery for over 15 years and they never fail to impress.
