What impressed us the most was the excellent service, everyone had a positive attitude and seemed happy to be working there. Even the two nietos (grandkids) who helped around were polite and worked hard. The food was very good, although we found the lamb chops a bit rough, more like Australian lamb than Spanish lamb, but overall pretty good food at decent prices. The croquettes were very good and the salad was fresh and more than enough for three. Good wine selection at a fair prices. It gets very crowded on weekends so better to make a reservation, we didn't have one and had to wait until 4:00 o'clock to have lunch, but we used the time to visit the beautiful town and it was well worth it.
We were made to feel very welcome. The menu was explained very clearly in English, which was very helpful as our Spanish is basic. The quality of the food and service were first class. The value of the menu del dias was outstanding. We will return definitely next time we are in Rioja.
The food was superb and the service was the best that we experienced in Northern Spain (during a 2 week vacation). The location, although a little bit 'out ', is totally worth driving to. Highly recommended and compliments to the owner and his team. 6 stars!
Un lugar muy acogedor para almorzar en Briones.Buena relación calidad-precio.Delicioso revuelto de boletus y exquisitas chuletillas de cordero al sarmiento.Raquel y el chico que nos atendió han sido encantadores.Sitio muy recomendable.

Hemos comido muy bien. Pimientos del piquillo con ventresca, morcilla y chuletas de cordero lechal. Trato muy bueno tanto de Claudio como del otro camarero que nos ha atendido. Buena relación calidad -precio. Para repetir.
Hoy hemos estado dos grupos de Amurrio y Llodio de EPA y el menú que nos han dado ha sido muy bueno y bien preparado. Los camareros atentos y agradables en todo momento. Para repetir.
Muy buen sitio para comer, rápido y comida excelente, nosotros fuimos entre semana y tenian menú del día 16 euros pax.con 4 primeros y 4 segundos mas postre y bebida.
El pueblo es muy bonito para visitar, los camareros de 10, la comida un poquito escasa pero en general un buen sabor de boca.
