Their main specialty are bbq skewers and lots of people having them. The service is quite good and fairly practical ordering system. An overnight stay in Sydney prior to an overseas flight led us to our favourite Thai restaurant in Ashfield, only to find it under new management and closed for the rest of the month. Crossing the road we discovered a gem of a restaurant – Ashfield BBQ, where the two of us had a tasty, filling and seemingly authentic Korean meal for $48.The décor is pretty basic, almost Spartan, but clean and not uninviting. Its located on Liverpool Rd, right in the heart of Ashfield and from the moment you walk in, you get a real cosy, neighbourhood feel. We have been to this restaurant five times over the last few years. Amongst a whole street of Chinese restaurants, this struggles to get noticed. Criticisms first; don't bring befores, entrees and mains within minutes of each other. Get better paper napkins. Produce a better beef stir fry.Otherwise the food is good value Korean. The BBQ at table meals are excellent. The service is efficient, perhaps too efficient, and a bit serious. This restaurant has the makings for a good night out, good value and interesting food. They just need to rethink some of their service practices.

Located on the main Street in Ashfield, the place feels very very warm and inviting and the decor is fresh. The customer service is very attentive and friendly. The menu consists of many different varieties of meat, seafood and vegetables with a good range of cold dishes, handmade noodles, dumplings and wontons! I ordered the lamb, chicken, dried bean curd and the prawns! They were so tasty sprinkled with chilli and spices! The dumplings were also super fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place.
This a all you can eat ($29.90 AU) in two hours buffet. The buffet includes a range of salads, bbq meat and ice cream (drinks not included)Be a DIY BBQ restaurant largely means the quality of the meal is dependent on you. The salads were so-so.
You can have a very tasty lunch here, with tea, for $12. If you want a great value, quick, tasty asian/Korean lunch, for very little, in Ashfield, then this is the place for you.
Ate here for a xmas party and was really happy with the food, service and atmosphere. Will definitely be back with my girlfriend or friends
