This Chinese Restaurant is on the northern end of king street and badges itself as The Bite of China as well as Asian King - the first being their takeaway/home delivery service.We have dined in and also bought the home delivery on a number of occasions. The dine in is average and the food average, although the pancakes are the feature. However, if you want to be ripped off, use the home delivery through one of the online services....... Your card gets docked but you will be lucky if the meal arrives by midnight. Our last experience, we ordered the meal at 7:20 pm with a delivery time expected of 8:40 pm. I finally made it to Cafe Paci after a long wait, as they are very popular and my planning was not great. However, it was definitely worth the wait. This restaurant is one of Sydney's best, with incredible food, amazing flavor combinations, and sensational wines. My favorite dishes were the fermented carrot on rye and the duck a l'orange, but everything we tried was delicious. The service was excellent - friendly, informative, and smooth. Everything about our experience was exceptional, even down to the lettuce! We especially enjoyed sitting at the bar, which made for an entertaining evening. Thank you for a fantastic night. We waited two hours for delivery on a Sunday night (the order went in as soon as they opened at 5, so I can't imagine that it was even a particularly busy time for them). The delivery guy didn't even offer an apology when he arrived. The food, when it finally turned up was acceptable. The Garlic Lamb we ordered was very nice, but the dumplings had obviously been waiting for some time and were cold, tough and chewy. Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings tasted nice, but were overpriced for the number that you received.Overall considering the quality and service you can find elsewhere on King Street, I'd go elsewhere.
The service and atmosphere at this restaurant are both top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
