This is not one of our usual restaurants but when we were invited out at short notice and asked to book a table we chose the nearest available one.. We were not disappointed. The terrace is beautiful and tranquil though a little more shade would not gone amiss before sunset. The patron arrived with English menus without asking us which we preferred and when we assured him French was fine he asked if we could manage. This rather strange attitude to us all being fully capable conversing and ordering in a language not our own was seemingly fascinating and eventually one of the waitresses asked us why this was. When we told her the two of us lived just down the road and 2 had done degrees in France that seemed to be acceptable. The service was attentive and good that is until the bill was requested when we had to wait for ages and eventually the aptron had to be sort. The food was well cooked and the ingredients well sourced. The amuse bouche a panna cotta of watermelon with feta cream was delicious. As I often do, I had 2 entrees rather than a main course, both were good.. My husband liked both the appearance and taste of his tomato tarte. The main course fish was well cooked but there was no indication as to sustainability. I don't know how often the menu is changed, I suspect not very frequently. There were no specials or dishes from the market Possibly this is an establishment to passing tourists or hotel guests rather than a local, year-round clientelle.

We were staying at the hotel and decided to eat at the restaurant, we ordered aperitifs and 30 mins later no aperitifs had to ask them and the they had none, the food was good but the service appalling, so slow, the owner was polite one minute then rude the next, we should have left after not getting our aperitifs but didn’t, the lad that took the aperitifs order was too busy with a table of young girls to be bothered by any other tables. The canapés at the beginning was bar food a bowl of crisps and tinned olives

There is a parking lot in front of the door and it is relatively nice to sit on this terrace. The staff is nice but unfortunately not well formed and doesn't really know what to do. The glasses were dirty and the water for the pastis had shreds in it. The plates weren't clean either, and the food wasn't much better. I think there is much more potential in this restaurant and I wish the owner would realise this right away.

Good food, terrible service. We had a 3 course lunch for 28€/person, the dishes were tasty with fresh ingredients. The dessert had a variety of sorbets, but it seems the staff didn’t bother to ask us which flavour we wanted, they just showed up with 2 combinations. Overall the staff was rude and apathetic, i believe they would rather be without customers or a job…
