Our group of six had a table on the terrace on a warm summer evening. Steak Tartare is the house speciality so most of us had a half portion as a starter. It was excellent, possibly the best ever.For the main course there's a wide selection of meat and fish. veal medallions and steak were a popular choice in our group.From memory, the wine list focused on Swiss & French wines, so we chose some most acceptable bottles of Swiss Sauvignon Blanc followed by a Lagrange and Vieux Telegraph. These had a significant impact on the bill but enhanced our overall enjoyment of this memorable experience. Les Platanes offers that special atmosphere you want for a special occasion. Service is impeccable and friendly, not easy to combine. Food is excellent and presented with creativity and style. The Brasserie side is more rustic. The restaurant more elegant and chairs more comfortable. In...the evening food is the same on both sides. During the Summer there is a wonderful terrace on the village square. Les Platanes is known for its excellent tartare prepared at the table. Pour les habitants de la région comme pour les visiteurs , c'est un endroit que je recommande chaudement car il n'y a rien à redire ,tant tout est fait avec passion et professionnalisme sous la supervision d'une patronne formidable qui anime une équipe tout aussi formidable. Le restaurant est pourvu d'une jolie terrasse , très agréable quand il fait beau et last but not least la nourriture est très bonne . Bravo et à très vite
