I absolutely love the food here, but the service often falls short. Tonight, we received the wrong appetizer, but we still had to pay for it. After we ordered our appetizer, it took 20 minutes for our server to return to take our dinner order, and then we waited another 30 minutes for our food. It really felt like she might have forgotten to enter our order since everyone around us was getting their meals quickly. Despite this, we still want to return because the food is excellent! We just wish the service matched the quality of the food!
I only dine here a few times a year, and never for lunch. I came in at 1:15 PM on a Friday and had to wait 27 minutes just to get a glass of water. The staff was not attentive and seemed to be absent most of the time. The bartender even told us to find our own seating. If it weren't for the promise of some amazing sausage, we would have left. Four different waitstaff asked if we had been helped, but none of them actually returned. Now, as we approach the 40-minute mark, I'm starting to wonder if the meal will even be worth it.
The food is very good. It's fresh and tasty. The service is sometimes slow. It's not a staffing issue but a socializing issue. It's okay though, worth the wait. Parking: Handicapped parking it in the top lot because there are stairs to climb when parking in the bottom lot. You need to get through the bar to get to the dining room when you handicap park. Wheelchair accessibility: It is a little difficult to navigate through the bar to get to the dining area for anyone handicapped but it is accessable.
The fries, beer battered, that come with the chicken sandwich are especially tasty. They had crunch and was served good and hot. I ordered a sandwich to go, and they forgot the coleslaw. So for service it's a 3 star. That is not acceptable! Will definitely check my order next time before I leave. But overall , the service was okay, and the food was pretty good. Friendly atmosphere . Warm tap water, poor service, and manager (or owner) refused to acknowledge the poor service. Server didn’t check on us or try and correct the issues we had with our food coming out one item . Will not Go back. Manager was a jerk and tried to deflect the blame. Worst service and customer service I’ve experience in a while. Manager should be demoted to washing dishes.
