The meal starts off with a basket of the freshest baked breads, served with a variety of fresh herbs and a delicious olive oil. There is also a great selection of wines, sparkling wines, still or sparkling waters, and specialty coffees available. Avenue Italy truly captures the essence of dining on the coast of Italy. Overall, I highly recommend Avenue Italy for a fantastic dining experience.
very good happy hour and wonderful dinner! we had the tasty grilled Italian sausage as a hh appetizer along with their home wine and then dinner with the amazing beet salad and beautifully prepared alaskan healed. we sat outside, which was very nice and heating when they are cool. we were the most time when we were there since the wind was blocked where we were sitting.
As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by the sound of tired Italian men speaking with thick accents. This was a promising start. The atmosphere was pleasant, filled with the fragrances of herbs, olive oil, and aged bottles of wine. If you plan on dining here, be sure to come hungry and prepared to savor wine instead of liquor.
Was disappointed that we could’t get brunch which is apparently no longer offered however the brunch menu is still on their website. Also it would be nice for the waiter to mention the price of the bottomless mimosas as there were some in our party that thought they were included. Otherwise the food and service was good. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was exceptional! Our server Josue was very attentive to our large group, and we enjoyed a breathtaking view of the sunset from the outdoor seating. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the South Bay, and we will definitely be returning.
My husband and I love this Italian restaurant in the Village! We have dined there three times in the past month, including yesterday for a special Valentine's Day dinner. The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly.
Our waiter was fantastic! Very personable and friendly. He was very knowledgable about the menu and wine list. Food was excellent.
