Avocado Sushi du Village

It was my 40th birthday and my husband and I worked with the restaurant staff to organize the party for 30 people (adults and children). We worked with Danielle who listened to what we wanted and was able to meet all of our requests (allergies, food likes/dislikes, and making a huge Avocado Bowl). We were soooo pleased with the end result! We booked the entire restaurant and the owner as well as their resident Japanese sushi chef prepared all the rolls and dishes per our requests. They even ordered a specific kind of sparkling wine for the lunch. We were able to bring in our own cake. The food was amazing - what a spread of freshness, deliciousness, and taste. There were plenty of staff attending to us throughout the meal. It was great having the place to ourselves, having the restaurant listen to us, and eating such amazing food. We plan on going for my husband's birthday next! Thank you again Danielle and the rest of Avocado's staff!!

While this is certainly not the most delicious sushi around, Avocado's presentation is worth noting. The best item we had here is the avocado tartare, it was very tasty. The same cannot be said about the sashimi, the fish tastes like farmed fish, not the best quality, I regretted having the "Sashimi straight up". Their specialty rolls are rather very creative. We had Le Village with raspberry and butterfish, once again great presentation. Overall the presentation is great, ambiance is fine. I guess the chef could work on the taste of things a little more, and have a fresher fish selection.

Nous avons donné nos préférences au chef(tartare,saumon,pétoncle) et lui avons demandé de nous préparer un repas. L'entrée avocado était excellente et les autres palts servis super aussi. Les desserts étaient aussi très bons. Un peu cher quand même.Très bon service

Food was fantastic. Service was great. Recommend you try the martini sushi entree. It was excellent. Lots of different choices and very fresh. Loved it and will go back !

The best sushi in Montréal! J'étais surpris de voir et de manger des sushis faits avec de bon goût et avec aussi une présentation incroyable.
