Azteca Mexican Restaurants

I called in and order for pickup and I made sure to order an extra large salsa (I specifically said the large cup of salsa not just a couple of small ones) and extra chips. I had a large bag of carryout items so I didn 't notice anything was missing when I picked it up. When I got home there were absolutely no chips in the bag and just a tiny container of salsa. I called the restaurant and explained that I did not receive ANY chips and was given just a very small container of salsa. I was put on hold and transferred to someone else who was extremely rude and told me I didn 't pay for it so therefore I must not have ordered it. I recently visited Azteca and found it to be a decent dining option. While not life-changing, the fresh produce stood out despite some canned items on the menu. The restaurant offers a section called “vegi-mex” with one clearly labeled vegan dish, and other dishes can be modified to be vegan. The staff generally understand the concept of veganism, but I typically clarify my modifications. The Mexican rice contains chicken stock, but the refried beans are typically vegan at this location (though this may vary). They say a half pound of shrimp in their mojo de ajo, the appetizer. It's not. It's a lie. It's 5 shrimp they said, with a half pound of mushrooms. For 20 dollars. Their entree is 9 shrimp. The staff had patience with me explaining this though as I picked the sample platter fajitas instead. The chicken was very dry and all the samples needed flavoring, but some limes helped. Their cheese dip doesn't need the onions and would have been better without. The staff were nice but never refilled water though, and brought out free chips and dip upon being seated.

The restaurant offers delicious Mexican and American cuisine. The service is always quick and the food is served hot. I highly recommend trying the bean dip with chips and ordering some drinks to start. There are two parking lots available, one in the front and one on the side. Réservez une table maintenant

A bad experience, the staff, the waitresses are unprofessional, they do not have the ability to serve a customer, they are rude, I will not return to this place, unless they hire a professional waitress with the ability to serve customers very well...

Terrible tasting sauces. White cheese sauce on seafood enchiladas tasted like flour and water only. No flavor in their mole green or red sauces. Uhg. I won't be returning.

The churros and service are better than most I've experienced, but I dislike the location between Aurora and I-5 due to limited parking and sporadic ordering issues.
