I really want to love this restaurant. I've been visiting since I was a child, and the ribs, chicken, and french fries have always been excellent. The menu hasn’t changed since I was 10, which I find comforting. However, the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. While I appreciate the vintage decor, I would prefer a cozier ambiance with dimmed lights, some lively music in the background, and a more enthusiastic waitstaff. I was there on Monday night and found the bright lights and lack of background noise to be quite off-putting.
