We had a great time in Bacaro, went for a date night midweek and were not disappointed by the atmosphere in there, just the right amount of busy, great size for a restaurant with servers able to regularly circulate. The food was 9.5/10. We were lucky to get a table here on a Wednesday night this week (22nd Nov) We were looking for something a little different from the norm and we were so delighted to find this place. Think Tapas Italian style. I eat out a lot and I am very fussy/critical/hard to please. Absolutely everything was perfect; which unfortunately, I rarely say. From the initial welcome to the service to the food, wine and cocktails it was sublime. They recommended that ordering three dishes each may suffice but we are greedy and the dishes looked so good that we ordered five each: For sharing after all! We did struggle to eat everything, but after much pausing, we managed it! If I didn’t live over 200 miles away...
I’ve been here so many times and never once been disappointed. The food is always 100% and the staff are so good. The guy who is front of house made my day when he brought me a glass of fizz at my graduation meal. I mean I was hinting with my mortar board but it was really appreciated. I’ve been back twice since and he’s such a credit to the restaurant. Always pleasant and so are the staff. Happy staff? Means they are probably in a great job and treated well. Recommend this as a go to if you are in town.
We had a couple of hours in Liverpool and stopped here for a quick lunch. It was fantastic. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. I had the 3 small plates and the chicken wings with Nduja were amazing as was the calamari with a beautiful buttery mayo for dipping. My husband had the black pudding and chicken liver in an onion wine cream. He said it was one of the nicest things he has had in a restaurant in ages. If we come back to Liverpool, we will be eating here again.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience as always! Greeted and looked after so well by Rob staff. Seated at far end of restaurant and asked if we could move to a four table in window. Sorted by Rob and we went on to enjoy the beautiful food always deliver by Bacaro. We all said between us we had never once had bad food or service! A firm favourite for us all. Lamb Tagliatelle is my personal favourite but every dish we all had were stunning! Cannot wait to return!
I went for a meal here last Friday it was a girls early Christmas night. We had an excellent meal it was delicious food and wine it was my first visit to the restaurant but I will definitely be back. Friendly staff with good knowledge of the food and wine they serve. Well done to you all.
Great tapas and 'small plates ' restaurant. Not cheap at up to £10 each but all very good quality. Drinks are a bit steep a pint, glass of wine and a sherry £18.50. Good staff and a pleasant ambiance. Definitely book in advance.
It was our first time here tonight, we thought the food was excellent. Everything was delicious, our only issue was that we ordered too much. Definitely going again!
