Back Home In Lahaina

I ordered my food today. The food was beef and chicken. I ordered to go and came 20 minutes after I placed my phone order. The hostess working at the store, wasn’t quite rude, but very off putting and not very welcoming. My food was cold to the touch. Looking at the reviews, I expected much much more. For $19 I expected more protein on my food plate. Horrible customer service and for the price, I would like my food, at least warm. The hostess didn’t bother to greet me when I walked in, had a bad attitude and again, my food was cold. My family had the most amazing experience at Back Home in Lahaina. I used to work in Carson area 6 years ago, but I can still remember the delicious lunches at the restaurant. Today, we were headed to Carson for the LA Galaxy game and I recommend that we go to Back Home in Lahaina for dinner before he game. If your want a warm family experience with amazing food, friendly service, and I very kind owner, YOU MUST EAT HERE for lunch and/or dinner!!! The live band and customers dancing the hula also added to the experience.

Great service and atmosphere. Food need work. The fried chicken was good. The teriyaki beef was really chewy and should have sauce on it because it needs it. The teriyaki chicken was so bad. No flavor and so dry. Mac salad was good and cabbage salad was OK. I would like to go back and try other stuff because I heard good things about this place.

The food here is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic! They often have live music on weekends, which adds to the experience. I highly recommend the nachos topped with BBQ chicken, the Sumi salad, and the Lahaina fried chicken.

One of my Hawaiian Teamster Brother‘s took me there this place is incredible the food was incredible the people working there were incredible incredible place to go and have a beer food oh and by the way incredible live music Hawaiian style

I took my daughter for her birthday she loved it! live music, great food, great staff everything was perfect everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday. Thank you for making it so special.
